Licensed Massage Therapist

Duties include providing all therapeutic massages listed on our service menu, greeting clients, and maintaining treatment room cleanliness.  Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must!!

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high quality massage therapy services for health and wellness of guests.
  • Evaluate guest’s individual health needs to determine the most effective wellness program for them.
  • Interact cooperatively with other  team members to provide a seamless guest experience
  • Present a warm, gracious and professional persona for guests and co-workers
  • Actively work to build repeat business through marketing
  • Consistently and accurately updates guest profiles
  • Attends and participates in all general and team meetings
  • Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of treatment rooms and common areas
  • Assist front desk staff when necessary
  • May be required to conduct chair massages  at public events from time to time

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current LMT license required
  • Minimum of 500 hours of CEU’s or equivalent experience
  • Must pass the NCBTMB exam and background check
  • Special skills: deep tissue, pregnancy massage, sports massage, and reflexology required
  • Experience in aromatherapy desired
  • Must adhere to all local and state licensing laws and regulations
  • Must be customer service focused
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Flexible schedule required, available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be available to work 2 weekends a month
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working in a team environment

Sales/Client Service Specialist

Front desk staff needed for upscale massage franchise.  The Sales/Client Service Specialist (SCSS or SCS) is directly responsible for client conversions and coordinating front desk operations.  The SCSS is also responsible for goals and objectives that ensure growth and profitability through the sale of:

  • Memberships
  • Packages
  • Gift Cards
  • Rebooking
  • Add-on services 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately schedules, confirms, and guarantees reservations
  • Makes service recommendations to customers
  • Ensures guests are aware of available spa amenities
  • Provides excellent and professional telephone service
  • Greets and checks guests in and out
  • Displays expert knowledge of available services
  • Accurately enters Point of Sale data and quickly checks guests out
  • Sells memberships, gift cards, packages, and advises on rebooking
  • Maintains accurate gift sales data
  • Provides tours of the spa studio
  • Ensures the studio remains clean and ensures treatment rooms and restrooms are properly stocked
  • Follows all HIPPA regulations and Elements’ privacy practices
  • Attends and participates in all general and team meetings
  • Maintains a polished and professional personal image

 

SCSS may be asked to assist with projects:

  • Completing tasks by deadlines as assigned by manager (Example:  Participating in Marketing campaign tasks)
  • Coordinating Out-calls
  • Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience in front-line customer service (previous spa experience preferred)
  • Hospitality or retail experience is a plus
  • Sales experience (1+year preferred)
  • Cheerful, upbeat personality, able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (written and verbal) is essential
  • College graduate preferred
  • Flexible work schedule (must be able to work on weekends)
  • Advanced computer skills and aptitude for mastering  spa software applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in basic computer troubleshooting
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working in a team environment
