Meet Our Massage Therapists

Colleen is the owner of Elements Therapeutic Massage as well as a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker.  She and her husband Peter moved to Louisville from the Washington, DC area in 2003, fell in love with the people and the city and they decided to stay.  Colleen graduated from the Louisville School of Massage and when she is in the studio taking appointments, she specializes in Deep Tissue and Hot Stone Massage as well as Abdominal Massage and Prenatal Massage.

Shelby is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage. She started with Elements as a Massage Therapist and has been promoted every year and now holds the title and responsibilities of Operations Manager. When she is massaging, she specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Massage, however she is not opposed to providing her clients with a nice relaxing Swedish Massage when they need it.  In all instances, her clients leave our studio happier and healthier than when they came in. 

Lora is a Louisville native and graduate of Advanced Massage Therapeutics.  She is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker and specializes in Deep Tissue Massage as well as Prenatal Massage. Her attention to detail and nurturing personality enable Lora to form a strong connection to her clients.

Johanna is a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage and is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. It only takes one time on the table to know that she specializes in Deep Tissue Massage. Johanna is also trained in Advanced Stretching Techniques and Pretnatal Massage  as well as Hot Stone Massage. She has a great rapport with her clients and they keep coming back for more!

Tim graduated from the Louisville School of Massage and is also a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. He specializes in Swedish Massage techniques, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone Massage and his clients rave about his ability to relax them with his patient approach to their aches and pains.

Gretchen is a graduate of  the Louisville School of Massage. She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and abdominal massage techniques and utilizes her continuing education in stretching and myofascial techniques to help relieve her clients of chronic pain and other muscular issues.

Izzy is a graduate of Advanced Massage Therapeutics and her warm and inviting personality puts her clients in a state of relaxation before she even touches them!  Izzy is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker and specializes in Hot Stone, Prenatal, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage.   

Alex is a graduate of Advanced Massage Therapeutics and is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist. She specializes in Prenatal, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy. Alex believes that in order to truly find one's healthiest and most enlightened self, one must connect the mind, body and spirit. She finds that massage is a great way to facilitate this.   

A Louisville native, Nina is a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.  She specializes in Muscle Energy Technique, Hot Stone Massage, and Deep Tissue Massage. Her ability to zero in on and address her client's problem areas make them very happy and ready to face the world once more!

Gabe joins us from California where he graduated from the National Holistic Institute as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator.  A sous chef in his previous career, his passion for healthy living comes through in his approach to massage.  He specializes in Deep Tissue and Myofascial therapies and his clients benefit greatly from his stretching techniques.  

Cheryl is Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and is a graduate of Advanced Massage Therapeutics.  She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage as well as Prenatal Massage.  Cheryl's warm, nurturing approach to massage allows her clients to feel taken care of, body and spirit.

Anna is a graduate of Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, KY.  She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial techniques and Prenatal Massage.  Anna's clients always rave about her ability to assess their therapeutic needs.   

Sarah is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage.  She specializes in Deep Tissue masasge and many of her more active clients request her expertise when working on their legs and hips.  She is looking forward to becoming certified in Hot Stone Massage in the near future.  

Maria is small but mighty.  She specializes in Hot Stone Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.  She is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage.  Maria is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches on her Hot Stone skills and will join our team of therapists who provide the best hot stone experience in town.

One of Gannon's clients told me recently that he was incredibly talented at finding those tough to reach areas that cause her so much pain. She raved about his skills.  Gannon is a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage and specializes in Deep Tissue Massage.  He is also a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker.

Michelle, a graduate of the Louisville School of Massage, is quiet, focused, and specializes in Deep Tissue Massage. She is also a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist.  Michelle's clients are drawn to and appreciate her quiet approach to their issues and keep coming back for more.
