Overall responsibility
The successful candidate will:
· Arrive on Time
· Be in Uniform (neat and ironed)
· Follow the Daily Checklist for morning, mid-day (change of shift) and evening
· Keep the front desk and lobby clean and clutter free
· Answer phones, book appointments and handle cash
· Greet, check in and checkout clients
· Use the communication notebook to keep all front desk team members informed of any issues or concerns
· Upgrade 55 minute sessions to 80 minutes and upgrade massages to Hot Stones
· Sell memberships and packages
· Check deposits and monitor the cash drawer
· Track days and times that clients are turned away in order to more accurately staff for busy times
· Execute member and package marketing programs as defined by the Sales & Marketing Director
Key areas of responsibility
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the team to meet membership and package sales goals
· Demonstrate strong sales knowledge and ability
· Coach and train other members of the team on the execution of sales processes
· Recommend and implement sales process improvements
· Create, monitor, and share sales reporting to determine success and areas for improvement

Skills
· Utilizing basic selling skills: establishing rapport, uncovering needs, relating benefits to service features, handling objections, and closing
· Coaching: Proactively indentifying opportunities for other front desk staff to enhance sales productivity through periodic demonstration and observation
· Customer Focus: Ability to operate with the client’s best interest in mind, position for repeat business by delighting and surprising the client, make the client feel important and well-cared for, and strive for customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales and service delivery process
· Communication skills: Ability to be understood and to understand clients and colleagues; use questioning and active listening; provide information useful to clients and colleagues; ability to make clients feel comfortable by greeting them, making eye contact, and acting in a friendly manner
Knowledge
· Computer literacy: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007, especially Word and Excel, experience with scheduling and point of sale systems, comfortable gathering sales data and analyzing and communicating to improve sales processes and effectiveness
Ability
· Ability to handle multiple tasks: Ability to manage customer and therapist needs in the face of incoming phone calls and customers. When interrupted, ability to judge whether to pursue the new issue or continue working on the earlier one; ability to shift attention quickly to respond to the unexpected while progressing on other tasks
· Attention to detail: Ability to carry out multi-step processes efficiently and without errors
· Analytical skills: Ability to reason with, analyze, and draw conclusions from facts and data

Pay
$10 per hour plus bonus plan to be established by candidate and manager
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Schedule offered:
Saturday: 1:30p – 7:30p
Sunday: 1:30p - 7:30p
Monday: 2:30p – 8:30p
