Favorite Modalites: I enjoy giving Swedish massages, deep tissue massages, using classic Swedish massage strokes, the full body massage which stimulates circulation and improves the skin and the muscle tone, which relieves tension and provides a deep state of relaxation.

We asked our Therapists to Describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: My style is swedish/ relaxation that I can incorporate deep tissue into (if that's what the client is looking for). I can also do a sports style massage. My pressure is moderate to deep (3 to 3+). Neck, upper back, shoulders, and low back are my specialty areas.

Monica | LMT

Philosophy on Healing: Healing has to be on all levels. To heal one without the other ensures the return of what ails you. Hideko | LMT
Education: Space Coast Health Institute, FL., Nationally Certified (NCTMB) and Licensed in FL/MA, Certified Foot Reflexologist, Reiki Master Favorite Massage: Swedish, Deep Tissue and Foot Reflexology Philosophy of Healing: I believe that prevention is the key to maintain your own health and I am a strong believer in holistic remedies, as they have no bad side effects and focus more on the body's natural healing process. Natural healing is more intuitive and it's important to listen to your own body's rhythm. I really love what I do and find it very rewarding when clients tell me that I am able to help them ease their pain or provide them some means to relax. The more treatments people receive, the less stress they will have in their lives. Massage therapy is not a luxury anymore, but an essential part of routine health maintenance. I am very proud to be a part of Health Care professions that can make a difference in people's lives to offer a positive outlook and enhance and make them feel better about themselves physically, mentally, emotionally as well as spiritually as they are all connected each other to make a whole body We asked our Therapists to Describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: I combine different techniques that I have learned over the years into my Swedish massage including some acupressure, foot reflexology and Deep Tissue. Andie L. | LMT
Education: I graduated from Springfield Technical Community College with an Associates Degree in Science of Massage Therapy in 2008. I also received my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from STCC in 2006.
Favorite massage modalities: I enjoy Swedish and Thai Yoga Massage
Philosophy on healing: The key to wellness is to create a balance in your life. I believe we are healers with a need to love and be loved with compassion. As we reconnect with our true self, we honor the healer within. When we lose our center, we lose our focus. Massage provides a space where we can connect on all levels. It releases physical, mental, and spiritual blockages. There are many benefits of massage, but most importantly, this process allows an opportunity to tap into our own healing potential. To honor the healer within me, allows me to honor the healer in you. To become a light, and to share in love and healing to the people and world around us. We are then able to let go of the things that we don't want, and to embrace the things we do want. To find a good balance, can make us feel a sense of wholeness. Ultimately, it can bring greater joy and peace in our lives.
We asked our Therapists to describe their style of massage and this is what they had to say for themselves:
My style of massage is Swedish, with a smooth, rhythmic, and balanced flow. I really enjoy getting my clients into a relaxed state. I use moderate pressure but can carry out deeper work if my client has a need for it. I can be flexible.

Veronique | LMT
Education: College graduate in Psychology and Human Sciences, as well as Interior Design. Graduated with honors in the Massage Therapy program at Branford Hall Career Insititute. I am curently a member of the AMTA, Massachusetts chapter.
Favorite Massage Modalities: Swedish massage, hot stones, pre-natal, and bamboo massage. I believe that the deep relaxation effects these modalites bring to the individual receiving the treatment are very therapeutic for mind and body.
Philosophy on healing: Massage Therapy is one way towards a better health. It will help ease the effects of life's stresses, be it in our physical, mental or spiritual lives. Over the years, I have seen the effects of increased dependance of technology. People are expected to work fast, respond faster and produce more results in a shorter amount of time. This has an often negative effect on the mind and body. Ironically, all these technologies that are supposed to be about connection, have disconnected us for ourselves and our bodies. They have facilitated exchange of information yet have not necessarily brought to us what most of us are seeking; a true connection with ourselves and with others. As human beings, we need balance. I believe that massage, touch and bodywork provide that balance and can serve as a remedy to the high tech lives we are often subjected to. Ther is simply no substitue for receiving human touch. It connects us to ourselves in a way technology simply cannot.
We asked out therapists to describe their own style and here's what they had to say for themselves: My style is for relaxation. I use light to medium pressure, firm but soothing strokes. I can also perfom some deeper work if needed. I care for each and every one of my clients and my work reflects that. My goal is to help you find a sense of well-being and deep relaxation, to help melt away stress and tension. I am honored to do this work and I am looking forward to working with you soon. "Every body" needs a good massage!

Philosophy on Healing: I believe the Wellness industry is growing more and more each year. Consumers believe that massage is a healing art and is getting recognized more and more. I am proud to be part of an industry that deals specifically with people that have a benefit for massage and want to make a change for themselves without medication. I would rather be able to heal a person without medication, because once medicated you are only treating the symptom and not the problem. I am a problem solver.
