Amanda | Licensed Massage Therapist
Amanda’s has spent time studying and practicing massage therapy at the Wellness and Massage Training Institute in Woodrige, IL. She later graduated from there and received her certification in Massage Therapy. Amanda also has her AAS from College of DuPage.
Amanda has resided in many places including Glendale Heights, Chicago, and Florida. She has also traveled to numerous states including Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, New York, California, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. Her dream vacation would be to backpack through Europe and South America.
In her life before massage therapy Amanda was an inventory supervisor. And when she is not practicing massage she is bartending at a popular bar.
Amanda believes our bodies have the ability to heal themselves; sometimes we just need a push in a positive direction. Her favorite massage modalities are deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point, and joint mobilization.
Jessica | Licensed Massage Therapist
Jessica graduated and received her massage therapy license from Moraine Valley community college in 2010. She has resided in many different neighborhoods through the Chicago area and very much enjoys the city life.
Jessica has traveled through Wisconsin & Indiana which are 2 of her favorite places to go. It is a tradition for her & her family to travel through the dells once a year and travel to Yogi Bear Park. Her dream vacation is to take a trip to Egypt with full access to explore the pyramids.
Jessica’s favorite massage modalities are a firm Swedish massage, deep tissue & trigger point. In Jessica’s life before massage therapy she was a student with dreams of helping others in some way.
Jessica’s philosophy on healing is that the mind, body, and soul are one and when all are simultaneously relaxed, healing begins.
Kelly | Licensed Massage Therapist
Kelly received her license for massage therapy through The First Institute of Crystal Lake. Her favorite massage modalities include giving a Swedish massage while incorporating deep tissue. Reflexology is something that has also always interested Kelly towards massage therapy and also something she enjoys practicing. She would LOVE to learn lomi lomi massage.
She has traveled through Mexico, which she loved, and has also been to Florida. Her dream vacation is to go to Spain or Italy one day & explore their culture, and meet their locals. Kelly was raised in Algonquin and currently resides in the area.
In her life before massage therapy she was a barista!
Kelly’s philosophy on healing is that healing starts from the inside out, work on your inner self and you will be truly happy with life. Always smile =)
Erika | Licensed Massage Therapist
Erika graduated from Elgin Community College where she received her license in Massage Therapy. Erika was born and raised in the Elgin area. She was a server for many years at various restaurants in that area.
Erika has traveled to almost every state & her two favorite places were California and Hawaii. Her dream vacation would be to backpack throughout Europe.
Her favorite massage modalities are myofascial release & trigger point. Her philosophy on healing is that when the body & soul are one, you are healthy.
Monika | Licensed Massage Therapist
Monika has lived all over the world including the Czech Republic, Florida, and Chicago. She has also traveled to Greece, Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy, and California. Her dream vacation would include going to New England. Monika’s philosophy on healing is that the mind, body, and spirit work together. Her favorite types of massage modalities are Myofascial release, reflexology, and a mix between Swedish and deep tissue. In her life before massage therapy Monika was in the horticulture industry.
Deanna | Licensed Massage Therapist
Deanna recieved her licencse to become a massage therapist from the Northern Prairie School of Massage & Bodywork school in Sycamore, IL. She has traveled to Hawaii and dreams of traveling to Australia someday.
Her favorite massage modalities are swedish with a little trigger point & deep tissue. Deanna also loves to give prenatal massages.
Deanna's philosophy on healing is avoid pills & seek more natural ways of healing.
Heather | Licensed Massage Therapist
Heather’s philosophy on healing is that pain is not always gain; pain causes the muscles to contract and reject touch which is counter- productive. Her favorite massage modalities are myofascial techniques, trigger point, and deep tissue. She learned all about massage therapy at the Cortiva Institute: Chicago School of Massage Therapy, where she received her certification.
Heather was born and raised in Wisconsin, and later moved to Chicago. She has traveled through California, Missouri, and Scotland. Her dream vacation would be to take a year and travel through Brazil, the UK, Amsterdam, St. Petersburg Russia, Australia & New Zealand.
In Heather’s life before massage therapy she worked in an office at a mid-sized corporate litigation law firm in Chicago.
Brad | Licensed Massage Therapy
Brad’s philosophy on healing: “We are facilitators of the body’s natural healing process.” He graduated from the Soma Institute in 2009, where he was certified in Therapeutic Massage and Body work. His favorite massage modalities are fascial release techniques and trigger point therapy.
Brad has was born and resided in Iowa City and moved west where he currently resides in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. In Brad’s life before he became a massage therapist he was a bartender.
Brad has gone on many family vacations throughout the U.S, France, and Greece. His dream vacations would be to tour Europe, Ireland, Italy, the Czech Republic and see Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Karen | Licensed Massage Therapist
Karen’s philosophy on healing: “being half French – red wine cures a lot, it is always better to avoid taking pills, change your diet, drink water, and stretch”
She has studied at Olympia College in North Aurora.
Karen’s favorite massage modalities are deep pressure, and trigger point depending on what she finds.
Living in Carol Stream forever, she would love to try a cruise. She has traveled in the upper United States and out of the country to places like France to visit her family and Mexico to test their tequila.
Before massage therapy Karen did technical inside sales for an electrical enclosure manufacture.
Shanequa | Licensed Massage Therapist
Shanequa’s philosophy on healing: “Believing in healing is the key. If you believe it can be done then your mind is open to invite the positive energy in”
Shanequa received her massage therapy education at First Institute in Carol Stream. She currently resides in Elgin and dreams of vacationing in the Bahamas. Shanequa has traveled from Vegas to Florida.
Her favorite types of massages are Swedish, deep tissue, face massages, and she is known for giving the best foot massages. Before becoming a massage therapist she was working for Panasonic doing customer service.
Kimberly | Licensed Massage Therapist
Kimberly studied massage therapy at Carteret Community College in Morehead City, North Carolina. She finished her massage therapy program with over 1000 hours! In 2005 she received her
Associate’s degree from College of DuPage. She enjoys doing therapeutic massages and
working on specific areas while utilizing Swedish massage on the rest of the body. Her philosophy on healing is, “I like to help educate clients so their bodies can be more balanced, and by doing so I’m helping them heal themselves.”
Besides the many suburbs in Illinois that Kimberly has lived in she also has resided in North Carolina in MCAS Cherry Point, a USMC base where her husband was stationed at. She usually vacations in the summer to Northwood’s with her family but has also done some traveling in Mexico and throughout the United States. Her dream vacation is somewhere over the ocean such as Europe, Africa and Asia. Kimberly has a large passion for traveling. Before deciding to do therapeutic massage
Kimberly worked in a medical office keeping records.
Kasia | Licensed Massage Therapist
Kasia’s philosophy on healing is “Take care of yourself so you can better help others, and that you can never go wrong with time for yourself to better help others”
Kasia was born in Bialystok, Poland, and has lived in Chicago and the northwest suburbs.
Kasia is currently working on her masters in community counseling. She became a licensed massage therapist in January 2010. Kasia also has her bachelor’s in applied psychology.
Her favorite type of massage to give is Thai massage! This includes stretching techniques, and range of motion. Kasia loves learning new types of massage and the process of learning. Before she found massage therapy she worked with children, which is another passion of hers. She was a coordinator of an autism program for children with disabilities.
Both Kasia and her husband would love to travel to Australia.
Previously Kasia has been to Poland, England, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Mexico, Luxemburg. She has had the pleasure of traveling a lot in her life and thus far enjoyed it all.
Lisa | Licensed Massage Therapist
Lisa’s philosophy on healing: “I believe that we all have the power of healing ourselves in a natural and holistic way. I personally try to use alternative methods of healing, homeopathic and naturally before resorting to allopathic.”
Lisa has lived in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Florence. She has also traveled to South America, India, Russia, and Eastern & Western Europe. She would love to go back to Europe some day with her three kids and husband.
Lisa received her bachelor’s in fine arts at the Otis/ Parson school of design in Los Angeles. Her favorite types of massage are Swedish, deep tissue and also has a love for giving foot massages, and prenatal massages.
In Lisa’s life outside of massage therapy she is a mom, a wife, a nurturer and photographer. She has always loved working with her hands, whether it is doing crafts or healing.
Leah | Licensed Massage Therapist
Leah was trained in massage therapy at Cortiva Institute Chicago, her favorite massage modalities are swedish, myofascial, and deep tissue. Leah's philosophy on healing is that a massage is a natural healing method, it has proved to her that the body was made to heal itself and not be clouded with drugs. In her life before massage therapy Leah was a computer resource technician, administrative assistant and special recreation aide for the Veterans Park District. Leah was born and raised in Melrose Park, IL., and has traveled all over the U.S. to play softball, her favorite place to travel is Arizona and dreams to travel to Pompeii, Italy.
Ariana | Licensed Massage Therapist
Ariana’s philosophy on healing is to always make time for yourself, she is a graduate from Cortiva Institute of Wood Ridge, IL. She has resided in Chicago, Addison, and Wood Dale. Some of the places she has traveled through are Mexico, Spain, Portugal, and Arizona. Her dream vacation would be to go to Greece!
Her favorite massage modalities are tapotment, MHP/ CP. In her life before she found her love for massage therapy she was an early childhood education teacher and a physical therapy aide.
Candice | Hospitality Specialist
Candice recently moved back from California after living there for 5 years in the San Francisco / Lake Tahoe area. She dreams of traveling to Europe, and would love to see Japan & New Zealand. She has traveled to Las Vegas, Florida, Michigan & Wisconsin.
She graduated from Conant High School has studied at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines. She enjoys relaxing with a Swedish massage, and believes that healing begins with a positive attitude. Candice is a mom to an adorable to a boy named Jayden who is her world.
Miriam | Hospitality Specialist
Miriam’s educational background consists of an Associates of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor of General Studies. Miriam was raised in Chicago and also currently works there. Currently she resides in the northwest suburbs close to all her children and grandchildren.
Miriam has traveled to Florida, Puerto Rico, Utah, New York, Mexico, Texas, Wisconsin, and California. Her dream vacation would be to visit Paris.
Miriam loves working with people and enjoys spending her free time with her grandkids.
Julia | Assistant Manager
Julia is currently studying Business and Interior design at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn. She has traveled to California, Canada, New York, South Carolina, and Mexico. She resided in Mexico for a couple of months at a younger age with family that lives out there. She enjoys receiving relaxing massages from time to time to relieve her of stress in everyday life. Her dream vacation would be to go back to San Diego and relive the memories she has from the first time she went, with the exception of staying at Hotel Del Coronado this time around.
Julia has lived in Chicago, which is also her favorite place to be when she is not at work; her dream is to one day move back there.
Nicole | Area Manager
Nicole studied business at St. Charles Community College and the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Her first experience in the business field was an internship in sales for a major financial institution. Nicole credits much of her success in the business world to her parents. Having been an only child, she feels blessed by the amount of academic attention she received through many of her formative years.
As a result of her father’s profession Nicole has lived in many different states, such as Oregon, Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and now Illinois. Not to mention she was also born on an army base in Nuremburg, Germany. Nicole has been on vacation to Florida and outside the US to Mexico and Canada, but would love to travel around Greece and Italy to visit much of her heritage. Nicole lives for her boyfriend, family, friends, and her dogs.
Nicole feels if you want to enjoy life then working hard at something you love and respect is important. “I feel very fortunate to have found exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. I take pride in working for a company that truly takes clientele and employee interest to heart.”
